Seabright was always ready to help, sticking with me through the college applications process. What helped me the most was their attention to detail: from brainstorming to refining. Seabright's organization, consistent feedback, and clear communication made them amazing to work with.

About

Lisa Shiveley
Lisa first gained experience in the intricacies of the college admissions process when supporting her daughter’s applications to the top-tier college dance programs, with acceptance and matriculation to The Juilliard School. Through this, Lisa became well-versed in the various Arts Supplement requirements for premier schools. Since then, Lisa has volunteered with the non-profit SHE-CAN, mentoring a student from Cambodia with the application process. She also works with first-generation students through the Foundation for College Education pursuing college admissions. Lisa is a life coach and has always enjoyed helping her clients identify their goals and achieve them. She’s thrilled to be partnering with Meg Sloan in Seabright Advisors, leveraging her project management, communication, and interpersonal skills with young adults. She founded a professional dance company, Menlowe Ballet, where she was responsible for all operations including strategic direction, fund development, and hiring of dancers.
Lisa received her Independent College Admissions and Career Advising certificate in 2024 from UC Berkeley. In addition, she participated in the WOW Writing Workshop to enhance her skills in guiding students in writing compelling college essays.
